28 February 2010 – 1 Mourning Dove

I found one freshly killed Mourning Dove at the NRC this morning. It looked to have died some time in the last 24–48 hours. I left the carcass in situ, as this bird will be useful for monitoring scavenging activity.

I kicked off 2010 monitoring today without a trace of any recent window collision activity.
